Taking The Steps Into the Spotlight

Sonora Binkley is a young woman (nineteen years old) living in Colorado. She was born in Brisbane, Australia, and lived much of her early life visiting Maui, Hawaii where her family owns a farm. Sonora has always been a creative, whether it was sketching for hours in an old notebook or singing at the county fair. Living in the small town of Lafayette, Colorado, Sonora carried out her years of school, all while dreaming of being in film. She enjoys watching many movies, as well as writing her own ideas for projects. Some of her favorite films include Mid90's (Jonah Hill), Malcolm and Marie (Sam Levinson), and The Florida Project (Sean Baker). Sonora also has a passionate love for the 2019-2022 hit show Euphoria (Sam Levinson), and is continuously inspired to act due to watching it countless times. In her free time, Sonora enjoys creative writing and poetry, reading, advocating for mental health, and listening to/making music. She also dabbles in reading about true crime, with a fascination for the human psyche. Miss Binkley is saving her money to move where stars are born: Los Angeles. Sonora is currently non-union, and is new to the industry. After a few years of mental health struggles as well as the Covid-19 pandemic, Sonora was ill-equipped to pursue her dreams. Finally ready to move forward, Binkley is looking for representation, as well as any jobs/auditions that suit her. The pool is full of fish, but Sonora feels optimistic about the future, and hopes to be acting on screen as soon as possible.
